Sublimation Mugs

Personalized Printed Mugs use sublimation printing — a heat-transfer process that fuses full-colour ink into the ceramic glaze for a permanent, dishwasher-safe finish. Best when you need full-colour photos, multi-colour graphics, or individual recipient personalisation that pad printing can’t handle. Each mug carries your design wrapped 360° around the body, with optional recipient names or photos for individual gifting. MOQ from 50 units, Pakistan-wide despatch.

Sublimation mug configurations

Sublimation works best on white or light-coloured ceramic — the base colour shows through any unprinted areas of the design. Common formats: full-wrap photo mug (single image wrapped around the mug body), multi-image collage (3-5 photos arranged on the mug face), logo + recipient name combo (company branding + individual personalisation), and full-colour graphic (illustrations, infographics, multi-colour brand designs). Sublimation is dishwasher-safe and won't fade with normal daily use. See the parent Custom Coffee Mugs range for ceramic, glass, travel, and premium mug options with other branding methods.

Frequently asked questions about printed mugs

What's the difference between sublimation and pad printing?

Sublimation prints full-colour photos and multi-colour graphics by fusing ink into the ceramic glaze permanently — best for individual personalisation or detailed designs. Pad printing transfers a single or two-colour logo onto the mug surface — lower per-unit cost, suitable for higher-volume orders where you only need a logo, not a photo. Choose sublimation when each mug needs to be different (recipient names, photos); choose pad printing when every mug carries the same simple logo at high volume.

Can each mug have a different recipient's photo or name?

Yes — that's where sublimation excels. Provide the recipient list with photos or names at the order stage; we'll print each mug individually with the assigned content. Common use case: new-hire onboarding mugs printed with each new starter's name, or retirement gifts printed with the retiree's photo and years of service.
